New Hope

Nestled on four beautifully landscaped acres just five minutes from the heart of New Hope, is a lovely mid-1700's house.

Each of the six guest rooms has been luxuriously appointed and offers queen-sized beds, soft linens, fluffy comforters and private baths. On cool nights, you're invited to make yourself at home curled up in front of the fire in either the library or sitting room. On warm summer days, the pool area, settled in the ruins of an old stone barn, beckons. Virtually everywhere you look in the pool area, you will see completely natural materials, and this contributes to the illusion that you have stepped into a natural (but impeccably well-designed) oasis.

Each morning a full, hot and cold buffet is served in the elegant dining room. Afternoon snacks are available during the week. There are many fine restaurants and cafes nearby fro dining.

New Hope B&B

New Hope

A welcome retreat for those in need of a break from the everyday! Relax by a fire in the two-story stone fireplace in the Great Room. Gaze through the picture windows to view the woods and gardens of the six-acre property. At this romantic B&B, you can listen to the water, the birds, and the frog in the pond as you forget your cares.

The eight spacious bedrooms each have queen or king beds - one room has two queen beds. All have a private bath (some with a Jacuzzi tub). Fluffy bathrobes are provided. The spacious bedrooms each have air-conditioning and cable television. VCR and high speed internet cable are available. Private decks are available as an extra in some rooms. A delicious, full breakfast is served in the morning in the atrium or on the deck, weather permitting with farm fresh eggs from the resident chickens.

You can walk to the casual, country town of New Hope to visit antique shops, boutiques, and fabulous restaurants or take a mule barge ride.

Rushland B&B

New Hope Area

Enjoy a quiet time on a private nature reserve in an original 1696 fieldstone cottage. The adjacent farm, originally a grist & sawmill, played a part in the American Revolution. The Farm, originally established in 1740, is nestled in the rolling hills of Bucks Country, one hour north of Philadelphia. Situated on 30 acres of pristine woods and streams, its historic fieldstone buildings and grounds have been carefully modified to provide the perfect environment for the care of pet pigs. Today it is an active place internationally known for the breeding and care of pet pigs.

The cottage, which sleeps up to 6, features a working fireplace, spiral stairs to modest sleeping quarters, sun room and full kitchen & bath. Breakfast is on your own.

Participate in farm activities; take long walks among primitive forests, fields and streams or visit nearby antique shops and other historical sites.
